TRAINING: How to measure Change in Global Citizenship Education and Development Cooperation Projects, 3 spots left/last day of registration on 26th of August
This training event will provide participants opportunity to get hands-on skills on planning, monitoring and evaluation approaches. The workshop will be particularly suited to projects that seek to influence social change that is unpredictable, non-linear and beyond their project's control. Participants will use elements of outcome mapping to design an actor focused theory of change and learn how to formulate progress markers for monitoring change in behavior and practice. Participants will also learn how most significant change and outcome harvesting can be used to learn about results that are difficult to measure without the need for predefined indicators.
The trainer Jan Van Ongevalle leads the research group “Global Development” at https://hiva.kuleuven.be/en/ He has more than 15 years of experience as a practitioner in the education sector in Africa, and 8 years of experience as senior researcher and research manager on various global development issues.
