This is a free workshop, held online on Zoom specifically to communities in Tampere (March 17th) and in Turku on (March 19th).

The aim of this virtual workshop is to kickstart a diverse network of key actors interested in developing multicultural initiatives in Tampere and Turku. The workshop is designed to bring together local authorities, non-governmental organizations, arts and culture organizations, immigrant communities, researchers, artists, activists, sharing visions and experiences on how to create cross-sectorial and multicultural initiatives. We facilitate the workshop by sharing the expertise gathered throughout the 16-years long trajectory of producing Cinemaissí Film Festival (in Helsinki), the biggest Latin American film festival in the Nordics.

The event is organized by Cinemaissí ry, Cinemaissí DocArchive and supported by the Moniheli grant.
