Invitation to a book launch on 5th of May, 13-15: Embodied Inequalities in Disability and Development
We invite you to a high-level launch event of a
new international research book titled: ‘Embodied Inequalities in Disability and Development’. In the event, researchers will present their findings on the new frontiers
of disability and development studies. Disability activists, duty-bearers
and ambassadors around the globe have their voices heard through video contributions, and
a panel is set up to share new ideas to promote disability inclusion in development policies
and practices.
The event takes place at Think Corner, Helsinki in 5th of May, 13:00–15:00 (East European Summer Time). Think Corner
fits a maximum of 100 participants. The event is accessible, and written interpretation and induction loops are there for those in need.
