Africa and Europe are close and important neighbouring regions of each other, and the future dynamics both in terms of demographics and multilateral, regional developments will only bring them even closer.

 

On the eve of Finland’s presidency of the EU, we would like to welcome you to a roundtable discussion on the Africa-Europe relations. The African Union High Representative Carlos Lopes will give a presentation about Africa’s potential and challenges in the partnership with EU, followed by comments from representatives of African diplomatic corps, Government of Finland and research community.
