Do you feel SDGs are compulsory framework to mention in your work rather than a great opportunity to create impact? Have you wondered how to effectively use sustainable development goals in global citizenship education and development communication? Then this training is for you!

Sustainability issues are complex in nature, linking many different sectors of society. The UN Agenda 2030 provides a global framework for structuring sustainable development (SDGs) into 17 goals. However, this structure has been criticized for failing to take into account the interactions between the goals. Instead of observing the 17 goals separately, a systems-based approach focuses on how we might achieve the SDGs as a unit.

In this workshop we will provide a more comprehensive approach to sustainable development goals and apply it in the form of a workshop.

This training will provide participants tools to link their work to the SDG framework, contribute to the implementation of the SDGs, and also reflect how the civil society organisations can use SDG framework as a tool to leverage their impact.
The training is targeted especially to civil society actors implementing global citizenship education and development communication activities.
