Does your organisation work with Global Education?

Do you have a brilliant new idea for a Global Education initiative?

GENE – Global Education Network Europe – recognises the importance of innovation in Global Education through its Global Education Ideas Award, which is already the 3^rd edition of the GENE Global Education Award.

This edition of the Award is focused on new ideas for Global Education initiatives that facilitate transformative learning and open peoples’ eyes and minds to the realities of the world, locally and globally. It promotes Global Education that brings about this change through creativity, participation, direct action, synergies and innovation, and to inspire public policy.

GENE wishes to encourage experimentation, the exploration of new approaches and ways to address the different issues that are pressing the local and global realities, in both formal and nonformal educational settings. GENE believes that opportunities to change in new, non-traditional and innovative ways need to be supported, applauded and recognised.

Any legally constituted organisation with Headquarters in a European country and with experience in running inspiring Global Education initiatives are welcome to apply. The most innovative ideas will be selected by the Award International Selection Committee and awarded with up to 10.000 Euro each, at the Award Ceremony during the 41st GENE Roundtable in Malta, on 18 October, 2019. And, several others will be recognised through a publication.

The deadline for applications: 4 June 2019.

The final selection: 15 September 2019
