Breaking news from the Horn of Africa: Webinar with HE Pekka Haavisto, Special European Envoy and Finnish Foreign Minister TOMORROW Tuesday 23^rd February at 10.30–12.00 CET (11.30 am to 1.00 pm in Finland).

Minister Haavisto recently visited the Horn of Africa as a special envoy of High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell to help reduce the tensions between Sudan and Ethiopia and to see how the international community could provide support in finding peaceful solutions to the current crises facing the region.

Minister Haavisto will report back to his colleagues at the Foreign Affairs Council on Monday. On Tuesday 23^rd February at 10.30–12.00 CET, he is happy to talk with civil society about the current situation. The discussion will be in English.
