Viestin välitti, Sanna Rekola / Fingo * * * Hyvät vastaanottajat, Tiedoksenne ja mahd. eteenpäin Euroopan neuvoston käynnistämä, kansalaisyhteiskuntatoimijoille suunnattu haku kehittää hyviä käytänteitä, joilla ehkäistään seksismiä, ml. seksisitistä vihapuhetta. Haku on osa Euroopan neuvoston tasa-arvo-osaston toimeenpanemaa ”Mobilise against Sexism!” –hanketta. Rahoitus (40 000 EUR) myönnetään yhdelle NGO –toimijalle. Tarkoituksena on edistää Euroopan neuvoston ministerikomitean toukokuussa 2019 hyväksytyn suosituksen ”Recommendation CM/Rec(2019)1 on preventing and combating sexism” toimeenpanoa (linkki alla). Hankkeen tulee kattaa toimintoja vähintään 10 Euroopan neuvoston jäsenmaassa, 01.02.2020-30.09.2020 välisenä aikana. Keskeistä on siis kehittää uusia toimia, ei niinkään hakea rahoitusta jo olemassa oleville toimille. Ilmoitusta voi vapaasti jakaa tahoille, jotka voisivat kiinnostua hakemisesta. Activities will aim to * Encourage public debate around the prevalence of, and response given to, sexism by different actors, so as to promote higher levels of understanding/awareness of the phenomenon and identify adequate answers, as appropriate and relevant to different national contexts. * Promote the use of the Council of Europe Recommendation on Preventing and Combating Sexism as a concrete tool to eradicate sexism The project shall be carried out by an umbrella non-governmental organisation with strong expertise and experience in work related to the promotion of gender equality and women’s rights, in cooperation with national branches / member organisations in respect of activities at national level.
