Call for proposals: A stronger global and transnational environment for civil society
advocacy and transparency
The Global Partnership for Education is pleased to announce the launch of a call for
proposals for transnational advocacy grants under Education Out
Loud<https://www.globalpartnership.org/focus-areas/advocacy-and-social-a…ty>,
GPE's fund for advocacy and social accountability managed by Oxfam IBIS.
Education Out Loud provides support for civil society to become active and influential in
shaping education policy to better meet the needs of communities, especially the most
marginalized. With an overall funding envelope of US$55.5 million, Education Out Loud is
the biggest education advocacy fund in the world available for civil society.
Grants funded through this call will seek to support transnational civil society alliances
to carry out innovative multi-country advocacy. This works seeks to influence global
policy frameworks and realize the right to equitable and quality education.
The call will support inclusive alliances that enable elevation of local and national
voices into transnational policy arenas and the coordination of citizen action across
local, subnational, national and transnational levels.
Individual grants will range from between US$450,000 to US$1.2 million for a duration of
up to 36 months, to be allocated to an alliance consisting of a minimum of 3 civil society
organizations.
Proposals can be submitted until January 31, 2020 (23:59 GMT) in English, French, Spanish
or Portuguese using the online application
